ANDY Watson chalked up 24 points in Accrington's 56-6 win over Eccles - a new individual points record for the club.

Accrington dominated this game and provided a feast of tries for the supporters. The home team crossed the line within the first few minutes after some determined drives from the forwards allowing Watson to score in the corner. By half time, they led 36-0 thanks to tries from Preston, Dobbin (2), Brindle, Bellis, all converted by man of the match Watson.

The second half became somewhat scrappy with the game already won. However, further tries from Cook, Watson, Coates and the try of the game from the hard working Ray Grace sealed a fine performance.
