* Terence Joseph A Maughan, 36, of Wordsworth Road, Accrington, pleaded guilty to drink driving and using a car without insurance. He was fined £110, ordered to pay £85 costs and a £150 criminal courts charge and disqualified from driving for 12 months, reduced by 13 weeks if he completes a course approved by the Secretary of State.

* Dean Connor Tytler, 20, of no fixed abode, was found guilty in his absence of theft from Stepping Stones in Accrington and stealing an iPod. He was given a 12-month community order with a supervision requirement, fined £5 and ordered to pay a total of £250 compensation.

* Nicole Richmond, 22, of Hameldon View, Great Harwood, pleaded guilty to using a television without a licence. She was fined £55 and ordered to pay £120 costs.

* Kim Ashton, 55, of Dryden Street, Clayton-le-Moors, was found guilty in her absence of using a television without a licence. She was fined £200 and ordered to pay £120 costs.

* Stephanie Brunton, 38, of Queen Street, Clayton-le-Moors, was found guilty in her absence of using a television without a licence. She was fined £200 and ordered to pay £120 costs.

* Angela Connolly, 44, of Dunnyshop Avenue, Accrington, was found guilty in her absence of using a television without a licence. She was fined £200 and ordered to pay £120 costs.

* Damian Kenneth Chamberlain, 38, of Grove Street, Oswaldtwistle, pleaded guilty to drink driving. He was fined £200, ordered to pay £85 costs and a £150 criminal courts charge and disqualified from driving for 18 months, reduced by 18 weeks if he completes a course approved by the Secretary of State.

* Ellesse Anders Schofield, 20, of Market Street, Church, was found guilty of assault by beating and stealing a mobile phone and set of keys. He was given a 12-month community order with a 20-day rehabilitation activity requirement, a two-year restraining order fined £10, ordered to pay £150 compensation, £85 costs and a £520 criminal courts charge.
