Huncoat popstar and actress Diana Vickers turns ‘villainous’ in new TV comedy Top Coppers.

Vickers, 24, plays a cyber criminal hacker in the spoof BBC Three comedy inspired by cop shows of the Seventies and Eighties.

The former X Factor semi finalist appears as part of a host of evil cameos from stars including James Fleet, Kayvan Novak and Paul Ritter.

Posting on Facebook, Vickers said the show is ‘full of lots of funny folk and I pop up too, get involved’.

Created by Cein McGillicuddy and Andy Kinnear, Top Coppers follows cops John Mahogany and Mitch Rust as they attempt to rid the world of Justice City from its criminal underworld.
