KEY: The table refers to GCSE (and equivalent) results from the 2003/04 academic year. A is the per cent of pupils achieving five or more grades A*-C with the previous year's figures in brackets; B is the per cent of pupils any qualifications ; C is the average point score per pupil, NOT capped at an average of their best eight GCSE results, as in previous years, but considering a student's full range of qualifications; D is a 'value added' figure, showing how the results of pupils have improved between the age of 13/14 (Key Stage 3) and 15/16, based around an average score of 1,000; E is the truancy figure, showing the percent of unauthorised half-days missed by pupils.

C: Gender of sixth form

D: Age range of students

E: Number of 16-18 year old students at the end of two years' sixth form study

F: Average point score per A-level/AS-level candidate based on students 16-18 years who entered for at least one GCE A level, one VCE A level or students who were at the end of their second year post-16 study for a double award VCE A-level

G: Average GCE/VCE point score per entry per student based on the criteria in F
