Mountain bikes and around a quarter of a tonne of copper piping has been stolen from an outbuilding.

Police said offenders broke into the building off Harwood Road in Rishton on Wednesday, January 15 by forcing the padlock on a roller shutter door.

Once inside they stole a child’s red Honda 100cc off-road scrambler motorbike, gents ‘Trex’ black mountain bike, gents white and red ‘Scott Aspect’ mountain bike with white wheels and a gents black ‘Scott Aspect’ mountain bike with black wheels.

They also made off with an orange Stihl Chainsaw, orange and white Stihl Leaf-Blower and around 250kg worth of scrap copper piping.
