Four men have been arrested following a chip shop robbery.

Three men from Accrington and one from Rossendale were arrested on Friday and held over the weekend.

Two female staff who were cashing up the till were threatened with a knife ay Plantation Chippy, Accrington on Thursday, March 31 at around 10pm.

Two robbers fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Accrington CID said a 16-year-old man, an 18-year-old and two 21-year-old men were arrested on suspicion of robbery.

They have been bailed pending further inquiries.
