AROUND 90 people packed into the grounds St Bartholemew's Vicarage in Great Harwood on Saturday to hear about comedian Bobby Ball's conversion to Christianity.

The entertainer gave testimony to the audience about how fame and drinking had turned him into a bad person and how he later turned to God for redemption.

The event formed part of the Great Harwood Parish Festival.

Organiser Joyce Miller said: "It was wonderful, everyone had a really good night."
