ACCRINGTON Stanley chairman Eric Whalley is helping out his old club Clitheroe next Monday.
A full Stanley team will face the UniBond side on Monday at Shawbridge kick off 2pm where the Conference trophy will also be on parade.
Clitheroe chairman Carl Garner, from Accrington, said: "As a former Clitheroe manager Eric wanted to help his former club and we have had financial problems.
"Around Christmas a lot of money went missing and there was a danger of us going out of business. But I came in in January and we have turned it around. We played FC United last week and now it is Accrington on Monday.
"We have rebuilt the club. We have a group of local lads here and we have turned around our finances and now have plans for the future.
"Eric has shown compassion by helping us out and he has promised to bring a full team."
The cost is £6 for adults and £3 juniors and OAPs.
